Sharita Oomeer has performed with various London-based theatre companies since 2006, including the Tower Theatre and KDC Theatre.
Previous roles include Marianne in Tartuffe, Ophelia in Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, Siri in Night Night Sleep Tight
and Bianca in Othello. Earlier this year she performed in Dreaming on a Midsummer's Night, KDC Theatre's first full-length improvised play.
In August, she will perform in Rise with the Old Vic Community Company.
Joanna Nevin trained at Drama Centre, London. Recent theatre credits include Lady Macbeth in Macbeth and Lady Capulet in
Romeo and Juliet (both in rep at the Ashcroft Theatre), Lily Byrne in A Man of No Importance (Arts Theatre and Union Theatre), Elizabeth in
The Legend of Lola Montez (UK Tour) and Lisa in The Love Shack (Theatro Technis). Brontë is her first production with the Tower Theatre Company.
This is Pam O'Brien's tenth year as a Tower member and her tenth production with the company. Previous shows have included three
Shakespeare productions which toured to Paris, one musical which travelled to Cornwall and various other performances at venues around London. She must
be a devotee of the company because she has recently moved to Kent but still travels in for rehearsals. In her other life she works in
public engagement for the humanitarian medical aid organisation, Medecins Sans Frontieres.
Paul Willcocks was a professional actor for several years before becoming a drama teacher, writer and examiner. He has appeared in
a number of large-scale productions including The Fiery Angel at the Royal Opera House, The Human Comedy at the Young Vic and
The Sea and The Mirror at
the Edinburge Fringe. His last appearance was as a disgruntled modern-day Jesus come back to Earth to spread The New Gospel of Christmas Downstairs at
Ryan's Bar last December. This is his first appearance with the Tower Theatre.
Martin South has acted and directed for the Tower Theatre Company for more than thirty years, and has been its Artistic Director.
Recent directing credits include Hang Up (Theatro Technis), The Graduate (Courtyard Theatre), Damages (Bridewell Theatre) and
The Turn of the Screw
(Upstairs at the Gatehouse). Recent acting roles with the Tower include Boolie Werthan in Driving Miss Daisy and the Player in Rosencrantz and Guildenstern
are Dead (both Upstairs at the Gatehouse), Benjamin Britten in The Habit of Art, Sackville in
The Turn of the Screw and Neddy Beagle in The Night Heron. For other companies, he has recently appeared as Elyot Chase (Private Lives - Hemar Theatre),
Eli Sham (Dirty Bird - Riot Act) and Caius Cassius (Coverage - Riot Act).
Tania Haq rejoined the Tower Theatre a few months ago. Previous productions for the Tower were Suddenly Last Summer
and My Mother Said I Never Should.
Tania graduated from RADA last July. She previously trained as a contemporary dancer at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance and holds a Graduate Diploma from The Laban Centre.
Since graduating she's been involved in various short film, theatre and television projects as well as making her own work.
Simona Hughes joined the Tower in 2002, during its last year in its former Canonbury home, and has since served on the Company
Committee and acted in some 13 productions, including Absent Friends, The Lady from the Sea, Julius Caesar, Dinner, Her Naked Skin, Baba Shakespeare and
Comic Potential. This is Simona's second Tower production as Director (she directed Little Nell last year). Last Autumn she attended a 10 week course in
Directing at Central School of Speech and Drama, where she was lucky enough to meet Franciska, who she invited to do the Movement Direction in Brontë
