Rosanna Preston
Rosanna Preston is very excited to be acting in Escaped Alone, a play that has intrigued her ever since she heard it performed in 2018. This is Rosanna’s fifth acting role at the Tower Theatre since joining the company for Henry V. Rosanna has since played Mrs Higgins in Pygmalion, Edith in Rules for Living and Christabel in Census Night. Rosanna also acted in and directed performances during the Virtual Tower seasons. Elsewhere Rosanna helped to create and performed in This Play Will Solve Climate Change (White Bear Theatre and City Lit) and has played at Theatro Technis, Baron’s Court Theatre and other venues. Rosanna directed Visitors for the Woodhouse Players and Hard to Find for Stokey Lit Fest and recently filmed the role of Charlotte in the TV series Psyched (in production).
  Vyvian Shaw
Vyvian Shaw joined the Tower in 1993 and has appeared in several musicals including The Wind in the Willows and The Producers, both taken to the Minack Theatre in Cornwall. She returns to her acting roots after 5 Women succumbed, mostly, to the pandemic, to try some Caryl Churchill.
Jacquie Cassidy
Jacquie Cassidy trained at Arts Educational London and went onto work in tv and stage. After many years working FOH in theatres and visitor attractions she returned in 2014 to acting in her spare time, attending acting and voice training courses at City Lit and RADA before joining the Park Theatre Company and devising courses, playing a range of roles from Mary Warren in the The Crucible to Bottom in A Midsummer Night’s Dream and the Zoom production of Jury. She was lucky to be asked to take part in a couple of the Tower Theatre zoom productions in 2020 and she is really looking forward to her first production in the actual theatre.
  Alison Liney
Alison Liney has been involved in amateur drama for a very long tome and has been a member of the Tower since 1997. After eighteen months of acting with a green dot in various Zoom performances she is delighted to have been part of the Tower’s Opening Up show in June and to have shared in expressing the feelings of children in Jubilee Voices, part of the Love [and Survival] in a Time of Covid festival. Progressing from monologues to actual interaction with others in Escaped Alone is almost too exciting! Recent pre-pandemic roles include Madame Arcati in Blithe Spirit, Jean in To Kill a Mockingbird and Mrs Moore in A Passage to India.
Amanda Waggott
Amanda Waggott has been a member of the Tower Theatre for around six years and has played Mag in The Beauty Queen of Leenane, Lady Codlington in Gainsborough Girls and Lil in Kindertransport. In 2018/19 she played several characters in Shirleymander at the Playground Theatre and Mum in Rapid Write Response at Theatre 503. She also produced Paradise Circus, Harvey and 'Ere. Recently Amanda organised The Who? Why? What? Theatre Science Bus for the Playground Theatre, sponsored by Imperial University, and she is produced The Jazz Age, The Army of Lovers and The Great Bear, all for the Playground Theatre. Amanda also teaches presentations skills. She has an MA in Theatre from Goldsmiths and trained at Drama Studio London post Birmingham University and attended the National Youth Theatre many years ago.
