Alison Liney was last seen on stage in Crime and Punishment as Nastasya, Raskolnikov’s long suffering maid. Previous Tower roles include Miss Willesden in London Wall, Lena in Escaped Alone, Madame Arcati in Blithe Spirit, Jean in To Kill a Mockingbird and Mrs Moore in A Passage to India. She has much in common with Miss Marple but can’t aspire to her acuity!

Emily Hassan has been really enjoying the rehearsal process for The Mirror Crack’d, which marks her third Tower show, having joined the company in late 2022. Last January she had a fantastic time playing Felicity in The Real Inspector Hound and she is currently assistant director for The Chimes. Emily acted in several plays while studying English at Oxford, with favourite roles including Helena in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Varya in The Cherry Orchard, and the titular role in Medea. She is also a National Youth Theatre member and has completed LAMDA exams up to grade eight. Since moving home to London, Emily has also appeared in Amadeus and Autobahn, both with SEDOS.

Sebastian Chrispin joined the Tower in 2013 and credits include Time and the Conways, Telstar and Sailor Beware! Before joining the Tower, he was in the Brussels Shakespeare Society, where he took lead roles in Richard II and All's Well That Ends Well. He has twice toured the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and was a member of the National Youth Theatre.

Clare Janew last appeared on the Tower stage in 2022 in Passing the Spoon and as a huge fan of an Agatha Christie mystery, she is delighted to be back for The Mirror Crack’d. Clare is an active part of a number of North London theatre groups, and has also had the opportunity to perform at the Minack Theatre in Cyrano de Bergerac and the Gaiety Theatre on the Isle of Man for The Games Afoot. Other notable roles have included Isabella in Measure for Measure, Jan in Bedroom Farce, Sideway and Collins in Our Country’s Good, and most recently Sister Anderson in Whose Life is it Anyway?. Clare also combined her love of running and performing playing many characters on murder mystery running tours with Secret London Runs so is no stranger to a whodunnit.

Paul Isaacs' most recent appearance with the Tower Theatre was in Enchanted April in 2022, and since then he's performed in Enlightenment (Woodhouse Players) and Tilly of Bloomsbury (SLT). Before the Tower settled in its current home he acted in several of its shows at the Bridewell, including The Slab Boys, Much Ado About Nothing, The Winter's Tale and Wolf Hall, and at other venues - Loot (Gatehouse Upstairs) and A Midsummer Night's Dream (Theatro Technis). Returning to acting training through classes at City Lit several years ago he's made several appearances with other companies including The Way of the World and The Seagull (both Barons Court Theatre), A Woman of No Importance and Platonov (Theatro Technis), The Pride and The Little Dog Laughed (with SLT), and is happy to be returning to the Tower for some Vintage Christie!

Sangita Modgil joined the Tower Theatre in 2018, first appearing in Henry V and she has since performed in a number of shows ranging from Twelfth Night and Kensuke's Kingdom to, most recently, The Fan. She can also be seen in short films including Public House and Hanging. Having recently broadened her experience as an Assistant Director for falling for (Liminal Space Theatre), she is delighted to be performing in this Agatha Christie classic.

Lucy Moss has been a member of Tower Theatre since 2018, when she played Irina in The Seagull and has been involved in as many shows as possible since then, either as a writer, director, actor or costume designer. Lucy remembers reading her first Agatha Christie at around 11 years old (After The Funeral), was instantly smitten and now has a sizeable collection of original Christie 60s and 70s paperbacks. Playing the demanding, complex and charismatic Marina Gregg has been a long-term dream come true.

This is Alex T. Hornby’s second production with the Tower Theatre, having played Romanian gerontophobic ‘Louis’ in 2017's The Ladykillers. Alex most recently performed as Johnny ‘Rooster’ Byron in Jerusalem for Network Theatre. Alex was a leading member of the sadly disbanded Spread Eagle Players for over 10 years and played the roles of Oscar Madison in The Odd Couple, a very strange man indeed in Autobahn, Basil Fawlty in Fawlty Towers, Benedick in Much Ado About Nothing, and Agrado in All About My Mother. Alex also directed Rumours, The Innocents, Come Back to the 5 and Dime Jimmy Dean Jimmy Dean and All About My Mother for the Spread Eagle Players. Alex will direct again in March - Wendy Macleod’s acclaimed ‘modern Jacobean’ dark comedy The House of Yes, for Network Theatre.

Sophie King is appearing in her third production with the Tower Theatre, and her first since Covid having played Elvira in Blithe Spirit in 2019 and Anne Boleyn in Wolf Hall in 2018. Previously she played Moyra in SEDOS' production of After the Dance and Lisa Hopkins in the Impact Theatre Company's production of Made in Dagenham. Whilst at University she was an active member of Oxford University Drama Society, playing Evelyn in The Shape of Things and a lead role in a piece of new writing, There's Only One Lord Byron, at the Edinburgh Fringe.

Lauren Budd is an award-winning actress and filmmaker. She has performed at several notable venues like the Soho Theatre and Camden Peoples Theatre. She currently stars in a mini-series and several on-demand films. Recently, she played an Evil Stepsister in the horror remake, Cinderella’s Curse, which premiered at the ODEON in Leicester Square. Upcoming projects include co-starring in Marc Zammit's next horror film Jitters and her first performance at the Tower in The Mirror Crack'd.

The Mirror Crack'd marks Eduardo Pelegrinello’s debut performance with the Tower Theatre, having joined the company last March. Eduardo has been passionate about acting from a young age and, during his teenage years, performed in a variety of productions with different drama groups. Notably, he was part of the original production of Love Never Dies at the Donmar Warehouse. His other stage credits include Titus Andronicus at the Unicorn Theatre and Bring It On at the Fortune Theatre. After taking some time away from the stage, Eduardo pursued further vocational training with City Academy, and continues to attend various acting workshops. He has since appeared in several amateur film productions, continuing to explore his artistic interests both on stage and in front of the camera. He is thrilled to embark on the world of Agatha Christie alongside this exceptionally talented group of individuals.

Dan Usztan is delighted to return to the Tower to direct this adaptation of one of his favourite Agatha Christie novels! Previously for the Tower he directed Blithe Spirit at the Tower Theatre, Wolf Hall at the Bridewell Theatre, the Minack Theatre and Lincoln's Inn, Road at the Bridewell Theatre and One Man, Two Guvnors and After The Dance Upstairs at the Gatehouse. As an actor, he was seen in The Ladykillers, Time and the Conways, Dancing at Lughnasa and Loot Upstairs at the Gatehouse and The Habit of Art and Coyote on a Fence at the Bridewell Theatre. He lives in Walthamstow with his husband and their dachshund, Magnus.
