Special Evening at the British Embassy in Paris

To celebrate the Queen's Birthday, the British Embassy in Paris hosted an evening of British culture

The Tower Theatre Company was invited to present a short sequence of some of the best-known scenes from Shakespeare's plays.

A group of ten Tower members, led by Artistic Director Martin Mulgrew, performed a selection of highlights from several of the plays.

The British Ambassador, Ed Llewellyn, was delighted with The Tower's contribution. He said "Wow! One of the highlights of our Queen's Birthday in Paris was Shakespeare in the garden - including Romeo and Juliet from the Residence balcony. Thank you to the talented troupe from Tower Theatre Company. You created a real Midsummer Night's Dream in the heart of Paris".
